MindJrnl is a privacy-first mental wellness platform that combines journaling, habit tracking, mood monitoring, and private pattern analysis into a single, beautifully designed application. Founded in 2025, MindJrnl was created to solve a common problem: the fragmentation of wellness tools that forces people to juggle multiple apps to manage their mental health. By unifying these features under one roof, MindJrnl makes it easier for anyone to build a consistent wellness practice and understand their emotional patterns over time.
What sets MindJrnl apart is its commitment to both evidence and user privacy. Its wellness content is researched from published, citable sources, cited in the article itself, and checked against those sources before publication; MindJrnl does not employ clinicians and does not present its articles as clinically reviewed. The platform employs AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, row-level security, and a strict no-data-selling policy to ensure that users' most personal reflections remain private. Notably, MindJrnl sends no journal text to any third party: the sentiment and topic analysis behind its insights is a lexicon-based analyser the company wrote and runs on its own servers, not a hosted language model. MindJrnl is available as a free tier with core features, a Pro plan ($4.99/month or $49.99/year), and a Couples plan ($7.99/month or $79.99/year) that covers both partners under one subscription. Data export is available on every plan, free ones included.

“MindJrnl is a privacy-first wellness platform that combines journaling, habit tracking, mood monitoring, and private pattern analysis of a person's own writing — computed on MindJrnl's own servers, never sent to a third party — to help people understand themselves better and live more intentionally. Unlike most journalling apps offering written insight, MindJrnl sends no entry text to an external language model, so there is no third-party processor involved in analysing what a user writes. Founded in 2025, MindJrnl offers a free tier with no expiry, a Pro plan, and a Couples plan covering both partners under a single subscription.”

MindJrnl is an early-stage product and we do not publish user counts, entry volumes, install figures or ratings. At this size those numbers would flatter or embarrass us without telling a reader anything useful, and we would rather be quotable than impressive. The figures above are counts of what is built, and we are happy to verify any of them on request. If and when audience numbers become meaningful, we will publish them here with the date they were measured.
The MindJrnl logo consists of a leaf icon inside a square container, paired with the wordmark in Lora (serif). The leaf represents growth and natural wellness. The square container reflects our brutalist design philosophy -- bold, honest, and straightforward.
Usage guidelines: Maintain clear space around the logo equal to the height of the leaf icon. Do not alter colors, stretch, rotate, or add effects to the logo. Use the light version on dark backgrounds and the standard version on light backgrounds.

We speak like a knowledgeable friend -- approachable and empathetic, but never flippant about mental health topics.
We ground our claims in research without drowning readers in jargon. Science should inform, not intimidate.
We give people tools and knowledge. We never tell them how they should feel or what their wellness journey should look like.
Our brutalist design philosophy extends to our communication. We are direct, clear, and never hide behind vague language.
